Another great excuse to live the dream, riding your motorbike on a perfect day and doing what you love supporting a great cause.
It was a great turnout to the Sunshine Butterflies Annual Charity Bike Ride. I’ve been riding in these events for the last 6 years. Each year I look forward to the rush of riding in a convoy of bikes that endlessly stretches out in front of you, winding through the spectacular Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Not only do I ride in the event, but I’ve also had the privilege of being asked to do the annual event t-shirt design for the last 6 years. Being a passionate rider I find it easy to come up with ideas to illustrate, the hard part is trying to single one out. It’s great seeing all the riders snap up the shirts and wear them on the day of the ride, even seeing riders that are wearing shirts from years gone by. As I mentioned before it’s a great cause so giving my time freely is a given as I get so much out of the day.
