As a small business you will be mainly utilising the meetings and chat features of Zoom. The main advantages of using it are:
- Quick and easy to start, join and collaborate across any device.
- Use Zoom on the go with your mobile or tablet.
- Communicate using a webcam, voice chat or share screen.
- Use the chat feature to instantly message other team members on Zoom.
- Integrate Zoom with your mail program to easily send invitations for meetings.
- FREE video calls for 40 minutes for a free account (better than Skype’s free account).

Create a free account
Create an account here by entering your email address. An email will be sent to you to confirm your email. https://zoom.us/signup
Activate your account
You will be sent an email. Click the link to activate your account.
Enter your details
Add in your name and create a password:
Invite Team Members
You can start inviting team members here or just add them later.
Start a test meeting
By starting a test meeting you will download and setup Zoom on your system in the process. Download and install when prompted.
Log into Zoom
Sign into Zoom on your system (or via the app on your device).
Once logged in you will be able to see any existing meetings for the day. Here you can quickly create a new meeting, joining a meeting that’s in progress, schedule in a future meeting or share screen.
The chat works just like any other messaging software. It is great for when you just want to send a quick message to other members of your team.
Here you can see all the meetings you have been invited to. You can also start, copy the invitation, edit or delete meetings.
Settings can be found by clicking your profile photo and clicking Settings. Here you can setup or adjust the settings. You may need to adjust the Video and Audio settings to use your webcam or headset.
That’s it! You are now ready to invite more of your team and start meetings!
